Through the collaboration of the MIP with the Library & Information Center, the possibility of converting the educational material needed by the FmeA and FmeEEA into an "accessible" format is provided so that they can utilize it accordingly. Then, through a specific process, it is cataloged, according to the international FRBR standard (Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records) and uploaded to the accessible, multimodal electronic library "AMELib", ready for use by students with needs for access to specially adapted material,
Any reader who needs specially adapted material to meet their educational needs can access the AMELib created by the Association of Hellenic Academic Libraries. Specifically, students with vision problems and upper limb motor difficulties for whom the use of printed educational material becomes difficult can use it. Also, students with special educational needs such as dyslexia can have access to educational material specially adapted to their needs.
